Your calendar is your real strategy
Whatever the plan says, your direction is the sum of what you say yes to each week.

Open last month's calendar and read it as an outsider. If you can't tie at least half the meetings to your three priorities, your plan is a wish.
Three questions before any yes
- Does this serve the quarter's priorities?
- Am I the only person who can do it?
- What leaves the calendar to make room for it?
The protected block
Two three-hour blocks a week where you're unavailable. That's where the work that changes the business happens - everything else is maintenance.
Every yes is a no to something else. The only question is whether you chose it.
